About Us
Commencing in Australia in 1965, Gerald Pauley learned to cut opals and became one of Australia’s best gem cutters.
Over the past 5 decades he and his companies have developed technologies to better improve the efficiency of gem cutting and polishing.
In 1967 he opened his first store under the name of ‘Melbourne Gem Centre’ and travelled Australia prospecting for gems and minerals.
Today Openallday has become a leading supplier of rough gemstones, mineral specimens and high quality mineral boxes.
