Stone of Recovery

Heulandite is a member of the Zeolite group of minerals. It occurs with stilbite and other zeolites in the amygdaloidal cavities of basaltic volcanic rocks, and occasionally in gneiss and hydrothermal veins. Many excellent specimens have been obtained from the Deccan Traps of the Sahyadri Mountains of Maharashtra near Mumbai, India. Crystals have a characteristic coffin-shaped habit. According to New Age Therapists Heulandite promotes receptiveness and having an open mind. An emotional healer for dealing with loss of all kinds, especially grief.
A good stone for weight loss.
Zodiac: Aries, Sagittarius
