Carrollite is a rare copper/cobalt sulphide mineral occuring in hydrothermal vein deposits, associated with tetrahedrite, chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcocite, pyrrhotite, pyrite, sphalerite, millerite and cobaltoan calcite.
